Sealed bids will be received by Town of Zebulon in Room 202 at Town Hall, 1003 N. Arendell Avenue, Zebulon, NC 27597 for providing labor, material and equipment and entering into a contract for the Town of Zebulon Shepard School Road Sidewalk Improvements project.
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 pm, August 7, 2014.
Bidders are highly encouraged to attend a pre-bid meeting at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in Room 202 at Town Hall, 1003 N. Arendell Avenue, Zebulon, NC 27597.
The Project consists of installing approximately 2,100 linear feet of 5’ concrete sidewalks, 225 linear feet of bridge parapet and guardrail improvements, 1,385 linear feet of curb and gutter, and 320 linear feet of 18-inch storm drain pipe.
Complete plans and specifications can be obtained from the Project Engineer, The Wooten Company, 120 N. Boylan Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27603 for a nonrefundable plan deposit of fifty dollars ($50.00). Complete contract documents can be reviewed in the Raleigh office of the Associated General Contractors; the Raleigh office of McGraw Hill Dodge Corporation; the Raleigh office of Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas; and the Minority Contractor’s Resource Center in Durham.
This project is a portion of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program that is financed with CDBG funds, a grant from North Carolina Department of Transportation, and local funds.
