Empowering Professional Black Women, Leaders and Entrepreneurs

by 05/10/2017

On Saturday, April 29, 2017, EPNET will host its 8th Annual Bold, Brave & Beautiful Women in Business Luncheon. The theme is “Women Not Built to Break,” and there will be a surprise panel of speakers. In addition, six awardees will be honored with the BBB Unbreakable Spirit Award.

Bold, Brave & Beautiful (BBB) is an empowerment venue to support women of various backgrounds who are entrepreneurs or possess an entrepreneur’s spirit. The luncheon main topic of discussion will be overcoming great obstacles and challenges as female professionals.

Women throughout the DMV will gather at the Marriott Hotel in Greenbelt, MD over a three course luncheon, network with like-minded individuals, have an opportunity to speak with premiere exhibitors and take home gift bags filled with empowerment tools and resources.

“We are building today’s women to prepare them for tomorrow’s challenges. We are the most overlooked population in business and we are coming together to tell the world we are not built to break,” says Theresa Royal Brown, EPNET & BBB Luncheon President & CEO.

This luncheon is based on the book by Theresa Royal Brown, Not Built To Break (Becoming Resilient Through Life Challenges). Mrs. Royal Brown will also share some of her life experiences, business practices and lessons learned with the women who attend the luncheon.

About EPNET:
EPNET is a business building organization that specializes in bringing businesses together by building relationships. They help professionals and entrepreneurs build these relationships so they can grow your business and bottom-line. They do this by hosting networking events, seminars, workshops and retreats. The experience they give their attendees is one that is friendly, warm, interactive and fun because we want you to feel like family when you are at an EPNET experience. In addition, at the end of the year, they are the only organization that just doesn’t “talk about” recognizing and appreciating entrepreneurs, they show it through their Legacy Award Ball where we honor 12-14 entrepreneurs who are leaving a living legacy.
