Service-Learning Summit to be Held at Fayetteville State University

The North Carolina Service-Learning Coalition (NCSLC), in partnership with the Fayetteville State University’s College of Education Doctoral Student Association, will host the 2020 North Carolina Service-Learning Summit at Fayetteville State University (FSU) on Thursday, February 27, 2020. The summit will allow participants to share practices and receive valuable training surrounding how to start or enhance students’ service-learning experiences.

The 2020 North Carolina Service-Learning Summit’s theme is “Strengthening Communities through Service-Learning” and is open to teachers, both K-12 and higher education, students, non-profit partners, community groups, service-learning rookies and experts. Registration is now open at www.ncslc.org. Presenters are invited to submit session proposals through December 17, 2019.

Registration is now open. Cost is $30 for students, VISTA, AmeriCorps, and TFA Members; $60 for adult participants, and $40 for adult presenters.

  • 4th Annual Building Business Rally Thursday, January 30, 2020 Ramada Plaza 1707 Owen Drive Fayetteville, NC 2:00 – 6:00 pm. The purpose is to connect businesses with procurement representatives from the City of Fayetteville and Cumberland County’s largest agencies to learn how your business can work with their business. The event is presented by the following partners: SBTDC, NC Works, PTAC, Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, and Fayetteville State University Construction Resource Office
