GDN CD FEATURE: Closer Than I Realized New Jazz Saxophone CD

Written by Featured Organization on 21 November 2012.

Wilmington, NC -- October 2012 marked the release of new jazz saxophone CD Closer Than I Realized. Closer Than I Realized is a 10 track sophomore CD release of Darryl Donnell Murrill. The CD is comprised of mostly instrumental songs with some background vocals and a lot of saxophone color. Murrill's inspiration for the new jazz saxophone CD is his knowledge of God's ever present love and mighty hand through the storms and trials of life. This new CD has track titles like New Season, Beautiful Jesus and John 15 which are evident of that divine influence.

Closer than I Realized has a full band sound complete with drums, keyboard, guitar, as well as auxiliary sounds. Two specific tracks have a guitar lead. Throughout this jazz instrumental project Darryl Donnell Murrill incorporates his saxophone instrumental lead along with saxophone accompaniment. This gospel jazz album can be found on iTunes, cdbaby, and Amazon.
