The Challenger newspaper was founded in Fayetteville, NC in October of 1987. By name change, it became Greater Diversity News in December 2003. GreaterDiversity.com and MBEAdvocate.com (Minority Business Enterprise Advocate) are complimentary websites to GDN, providing additional online resources and news. The inclusion of an online presence enhanced GDN's market and geographic focus.
