Web Event: Important Role HUB Firms Play in Local Economies Forum

by 06/22/2020

Dear HUB Vendors/Supporters,

Join us for a virtual panel discussion about the important role that Historically Underutilized Businesses play in local economies; in creating equitable opportunities; and in closing the racial wealth gap. The panel will address concrete policies and programs that local advocates can engage in to make sure businesses owned by people of color, in particular, can thrive. The pandemic (COVID-19) has shutter many small businesses. Nationally, the evidence shows it is disproportionately impacting black-owned small businesses. The panel will tackle ways to address a different way of doing business.

When: Tuesday, June 30th

Time: 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.
