Obama Drug Adviser: Reform Justice System to Recognize Drug Addiction as Disease
Special to the NNPA from the Afro-American Newspaper - President Obama’s top drug policy advisor will hold a media briefing on Nov. 21 at the Office of National Drug Control Policy to share new approaches to America’s drug war. Gil Kerlikowske, director of National Drug Control Policy, will share data regarding the disproportionate impact our nation’s drug problem has on African American communities.

A strange thing happened on the way to achieving the “American Dream”. The descendants of slaves have finally been offered an invitation to join the white, middle class seekers of the dream. If you’re not a part of the 1%, you’re a part of the 99% and therefore finally invited to seek your “American Dream”. Historically, the former slaves and their descendants have made basically two demands to the “United States powers that be”; grant me freedom and fairness.

(NNPA) Let’s give a shout out to English mathematician Sir Isaac Newton who, way back in 1687, developed the Theories of Black Consumer Power. Well, ok, if you want to get technical about it he didn’t name it that. He named it The Three Laws of Motion. But wow, do they explain a lot about your consumer power.
