The 4k 4Kay Walk is a commemorative walk in honor of Coach Kay Yow, those who have lost their lives, and those who are survivors of cancer. This walk is FREE and opened to the public.

This stretch of road serves as a bustling center of activity for students from N.C. State University and Meredith College. The pace is fun and fast here, with students, professors, executives and tourists mingling amongst the shops and restaurants. The N.C. State district also has some of the best venues in the area, including Theatre in the Park and Pullen Park, a family-friendly green space with duck ponds, a historic 1911 Dentzel carousel and a miniature train.
