Send your poems to the 2012 Statewide Poetry Contest, sponsored by the NC State University Creative Writing Program through the Barnhardt Family Fund. It's free and open to all NC residents (several exceptions apply). Deadline is March 1, 2012. Contest will be judged by Barbara Ras, poet and editorial director of Trinity University Press. Winners will be announced during Ras' reading in Caldwell Lounge, 7:30 pm, April 11, 2012. Details available on the NC State's Creative Writing website.
