  is Executive Director of the Coby Foundation in New York\, the nation’s
  only foundation to focus solely on grants to the fashion and textile fiel
 d\, and is an independent curator\, lecturer and consultant on exhibitions
  and collections. Ward will be joined in this gallery talk by artists in t
 he exhibition who are in Asheville for the opening reception. This event i
 s held in conjunction with the exhibition Art/Sewn. Located in the North W
