Join the Career Center for TechConnect Prep and Career Fair Prep. Both workshops will be offered simultaneously beginning at 5 pm and again at 5:45 pm; attend one or both sessions. ABOUT: Attending a Career Fair could potentially be overwhelming with numerous employers and hundreds of students attending and interested in the same companies. This workshop will provide strategies and direction before the Fall Career Fair on Sept. 12. TechConnect Prep is designed to give participants hands-on networking experience and practice along with tricks and tips on how to make the most of your time at a networking event, like TechConnect on Sept. 11. We will discuss first impressions, summing up your research and skills and the most important aspect - following up. Whether you plan on attending TechConnect or not this is an excellent introduction and/or refresher to get you primed for networking.
