Join us we kick-off another season of Operation Christmas Child in the Wilmington and surrounding areas!
Hosted by the Wilmington-Area NC Volunteer Team for Operation Christmas Child, inviting you to a special time of celebration, inspiration, worship and fellowship as we countdown the days to National Collection Week (Nov. 12-19) and prepare to share the love and hope of Jesus with over 30,000 hurting children all around the world from the Greater Wilmington area through simple gift-filled shoeboxes!
with Special Guest, Alex Nsengimana... Alex Nsengimana ...a shoebox recipient who grew up in the midst of tragedy, loss and instability in Rwanda. Alex will be sharing his amazing story of how God forever changed his life when he received a simple shoebox gift while living in an orphanage, and how God is preparing him to be a pastor in his native country of Rwanda!
This event FREE! Refreshments will be provided immediately following, along with the opportunity to pick-up free materials (including GO boxes!) and meet with Alex and Area Team Members!
Who is invited? This event is open to anyone interested in learning more about Operation Christmas Child and how God continues to use this project to impact children’s lives for eternity each year. You will also learn more about The Greatest Journey (a 12-part Discipleship Program) and how God is raising up agents of mission from among these children in order to take this same message of hope and love found in Jesus to their family, friends and communities!
Come hear the stories, share ideas and learn how to get more people involved in packing shoeboxes this year!
