The Roanoke River Ramble showcases one of the most beautiful upriver sections of the Roanoke River during the full color of autumn. You will see (but not paddle in) rapids, as you launch your boat to enjoy a nine-mile smooth water paddle with good flow from the Rockfish Capital of the World – Weldon, NC, to the Birthplace of Independence – Halifax, NC. During that nine-mile stretch, it will be common to see Bald Eagles, Osprey, a variety of hawks, Great Blue Heron, Kingfishers and more. There will be a light breakfast and hot coffee to start, and a delicious lunch and bluegrass music to finish. Long-sleeved event T-shirts will be given.
Registration is $30 per person or $25 per person for groups of four or more.
