NCDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING REGARDING THE PROPOSAL
TO IMPROVE THE INTERSECTION AT N.C. 710
AND DEEP BRANCH ROAD (S.R. 1339)
IN ROBESON COUNTY
STIP PROJECT NO. W-5706N
The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to improve intersection at N.C. 710 and Deep Branch Road (S.R. 1339) to a roundabout in Robeson County. The primary purpose of this project is to improve traffic flow and safety at the intersection.
A public meeting will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16 at UNC Pembroke University Center Annex located in Pembroke.
The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the project and gather input on the proposed design. As information becomes available, it may be viewed online at the NCDOT public meeting webpage: https://www.ncdot.gov/news/public-meetings or the project website:
The public may attend at any time during the public meeting hours, as no formal presentation will be made. NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.
The opportunity to submit written comments will be provided at the meeting or can be done by phone, email, or mail by July 30, 2019.
