Big Hungry River Upper Dam Modifications project

Sealed proposals will be received until 2:00 P.M. on May 5th, 2020 at the offices of the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission, located at 1751 Varsity Drive, Raleigh, NC 27606 for the Big Hungry River Upper Dam Modifications project. The project generally consists of construction of erosion control measures, access road improvements, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, demolition, heavy duty handrail installation, existing dam intake box modifications, modifications to an existing concrete dam, and related items. At the time and place listed above bids will be opened and read. The opening of bids will be broadcast for remote viewing.

An open pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders on April 15th, 2020 at 10:00 am via a teleconference. The teleconference can be joined by dialing 888.204.5984 and entering access code 2347249. The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms.

Complete plans and specifications for this project can be obtained from McGill Associates, 55 Broad Street, Asheville, NC 28801, during normal business hours. A deposit of $75.00 dollars in cash or certified check will be required to obtain the plans and specifications.
