NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed proposals will be received by the County of Wake in the Purchasing Department, Suite 2900, Wake County Justice Center, 301 McDowell Street, Raleigh, NC 27601, up to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 12, 2020, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for providing labor, material and equipment entering into the construction of Board of Elections Renovations, Phase II, located in Raleigh, NC.

The Project is an upfit of a portion of the existing warehouse for training and early voting and includes storm drainage and utility; grading, pavement and planting; exterior openings, wall infill and high-performance coatings; interior partitions, doors, frames, hardware and finishes; fire suppression; plumbing; HVAC system; lighting, power, fire alarm, special systems and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.

A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the project site at 1200 N. New Hope Road, Raleigh, NC 27610 at 2:00 pm, local prevailing time, on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. All Contractors are encouraged to attend. An additional site visit is scheduled for 2:00 pm, local prevailing time, on Wednesday, October 28, 2020

Complete contract documents in electronic PDF may be obtained beginning Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from the Architect upon request. Contact Kristen Osterlund, (919) 838-9337 or kristen@aoarchitect.com .  Hard copies of the complete contract documents can also be obtained by submitting a plan deposit of Two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) in cash or certified check written to Osterlund Architects, PLLC.

The plan deposit will be returned to Contractors submitting bids provided all documents are returned in good condition within ten (10) days after the bid date.  The plan deposit will be returned to Contractors not submitting bids provided all documents are returned in good condition at least five (5) days prior to the bid date.

No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for bids.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
