Barnhill Contracting Company has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk for Greenville Utilities Commission New Engineering and Operations Center, and will be conducting an MWBE Informational Session on Thursday, September 27th, 2018 at 5:30PM. The location of this session will be held at the Greenville Utilities Commission Operations Center A-Building Training Room located at 801 Mumford Road Greenville, NC 27834. This seminar will help to: Learn about the project and the scope of the bid packages; Inform and train Minority/HUB contractors in preparation for bidding this project; Assist in registration on the State of North Carolina Vendor link; Stimulate opportunities for Networking with other firms. The targeted bid date is January 2019. This project will be located at the intersection of Highway 43 and Rock Spring Road in Greenville, NC and includes the construction of three buildings of a total of 142,000 sf ft. Construction includes slab on grade, structural steel, and brick and architectural CMU veneer, TPO roof system and pre-engineered metal buildings. Interior partitions are metal stud with gypsum board. Construction also includes plumbing, mechanical, electrical systems along with a fuel island.
