FAMILY SELF-SUFFICIENCY COORDINATOR

The Housing Authority of the City of Goldsboro (HACG)  is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate for the position of Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Coordinator. This position performs a variety of duties related to case management of FSS participants and the goal of self-sufficiency. In addition, the FSS Coordinator will perform clerical duties related to tracking participation, entering spreadsheet data, providing reports to Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and other agencies, budget tracking letters and other duties as needed. Minimum preferred requirements are Associates degree from an accredited college with major course work in psychology, sociology, human services or non-profit management with seven (7) or more years of responsible community or social service experience that includes case management, peer support, service coordination or similar experience. Experience in special housing programs, self-sufficiency program or Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program is preferred. Visit www.hacg.org for full job description.
