Sealed bids for Hwy 97 Lift Station Screw Pump Replacement CRM BID NUMBER 320-060619CK will be received by the City of Rocky Mount, NC (hereinafter call the “City”) in the Purchasing Conference Room located on the 4th Floor of the Frederick E. Turnage Administrative Complex Building, 331 South Franklin Street, Rocky Mount, North Carolina 27804 until 2:00 P.M. local time, July 11, 2019 at which time and place all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on June 25, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. in the Purchasing Conference Room located on the 4th Floor of the Frederick E. Turnage Administrative Complex Building, 331 South Franklin Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The City of Rocky Mount is seeking 5% minority business participation on this project. Minority business owners or their representatives are urged to attend the pre-bid conference to become familiar with all project requirements.
Instructions for submitting bids and complete specifications for the work, equipment, supplies or services desired may be obtained by contacting Mr. Charles Davis at The Wooten Company at 919-828-0531. Bidding documents may be viewed at the City of Rocky Mount Purchasing web site located at www.rockymountnc.gov/bids and www.ips.state.nc.us. Complete Bidding Documents may be obtained upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $50.00 for each set of documents. Bid specifications may be reviewed in the City of Rocky Mount Purchasing Office on the fourth floor of the Frederick E. Turnage Administrative Complex during regular office hours between 8:30 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations: City of Rocky Mount, Purchasing Division; Office of the Design Engineer; Dodge Plan Room (online); ISQFT/CDC News (online); Construction Journal (online); The Blue Book Network (online).
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality. The City will not discriminate against any bidder submitting a bid because of race, creed, color, national origin or handicap.
