NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals will be received by the County of Wake in the Purchasing Department, Suite 2900, Wake County Justice Center, 301 McDowell Street, Raleigh, NC 27601, up to 2 p.m., March 7, 2019, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for providing labor, material and equipment entering into the construction of Men’s Shelter Interior Finish Alteration, located in Raleigh, NC. Complete contract documents will be open for inspection in the offices of the Architect; AGC, Raleigh Branch; F.W. Dodge, Raleigh Branch; North Carolina Institute of Minority Economic Development (NCIMED), Durham, North Carolina; or may be obtained from the Architect upon deposit of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) in cash or certified check. A pre-bid conference will be held at the Wake county Men’s Shelter, 1420 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC at 2:00p.m. local prevailing time on February 19, 2019.
The plan deposit will be returned to Contractors submitting bids provided all documents are returned in good condition within ten (10) days after the bid date. The plan deposit will be returned to Contractors not submitting bids provided all documents are returned in good condition at least five (5) days prior to the bid date.

Bidders shall comply with the requirements of the Wake County Minority Business Enterprise Program, as outlined in Section 00900 Wake County Minority and Women Business Enterprise Resolutions For Construction Contracts of the Project Manual.
No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
