NOTICE TO SUBCONTRACTOR
BIDDER PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUEST

MOORE HALL RENOVATION & UPFIT AND
G.R. LITTLE LIBRARY RENOVATION
ELIZABETH CITY STATE UNIVERSITY

W. M. Jordan Company, Inc. is seeking to pre-qualify principal trade and specialty contractors to submit bids for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment for the ECSU Moore Hall Renovation & Upfit and G. R. Little Library Renovation project. W. M. Jordan Company has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk for the project and will receive bids from and contract with the principal and specialty contractors for the execution of the work. Historically Underutilized Businesses are encouraged to participate, however the firm must be certified by the Office for Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB Office) through the Statewide Uniform verification (SWUC) program.  You may begin the certification process at the following website:  http://www.doa.nc.gov/hub/

Moore Hall includes the renovation of a two story, 40,000 sf, historically significant academic building.  G. R. Little Library includes the renovation of an existing two story, 50,000 sf concrete structure.  Trade subcontractors are required for the following bid packages:

Similar project experience will be considered during prequalification.  Anticipated Bid Date is July 2019.  Submittals for prequalification forms may be hand delivered, mailed, faxed or submitted electronically.  Deadline for prequalification is 10 days prior to Bid Date.  The CM and Owner reserve the right to reject any and all Pre-qualifications.  Contracting method will be through Competitive Public Bid in accordance with Chapter 143 of the NC General Statues.
