NOTICE TO TRADE SUBCONTRACTORS

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID

 Sealed proposals will be received by Balfour Beatty Construction for Wake County to build the New Cary Regional Library and Downtown Cary Parking Deck in Cary, NC. Bids for the following packages will be opened on November 14th at 2:00 PM: BP-01A General Trades, BP-01B Fencing, BP-01C Final Cleaning, BP-02A Sitework, BP-02B Site Concrete, BP-2D Landscaping, BP-03A Deep Foundations, BP 3B Concrete, BP 3C Precast Parking, BP-04A Masonry, BP 5ASteel, BP 6ACarpentry, BP-07AWaterproofing/Caulk, BP-7B Roofing, BP-8A Metal Panels, BP-08C Doors, Frames & Hardware, BP-8E Glass & Glazing, BP-9A Drywall, BP-09B Tile, BP-09C Acoustical, BP-09D Flooring, BP-09E Painting, BP-09F Terrazzo, BP-10A Specialties, BP-10C Blinds, BP-14A Elevator, BP-15A Plumbing, BP-15B Fire Protection, BP-15C Mechanical, BP-16A Electrical. All bids will be received and opened publicly at Hyatt Place Raleigh West, 710 Corporate Center Dr., Raleigh, NC 27607. Bids will not be accepted from bidders that are not pre-qualified. On October 24, 2017 a HUB Outreach session & Pre-Bid will be held 2:00 PM at Hyatt Place Raleigh West, 710 Corporate Center Dr., Raleigh, NC 27607. Bid Documents will be available October 17, 2017. Bid documents will be available for review at Balfour Beatty Construction located at 406 S McDowell St, Suite 200, Raleigh, NC 27601 during normal business hours. All Bidders are strongly encouraged to include opportunities for Minority Business participation wherever possible in their respective bid submission. Minority Business is a part of this contract and must comply with the State of North Carolina General Statutes. The CM and Owner reserve the right to reject any and all proposals. Preferred Alternate – On October 24, 2017 an open public meeting will be held @ 1 PM in the Hyatt Place Raleigh West, 710 Corporate Center Dr., Raleigh, NC 27607. In accordance with GS 133-3, Section 64 the following preferred brands are being considered as an alternate by the owner for this project: Art Glass.
