The City of Greenville is seeking qualified applicants for the following positions:

Planning & Compliance Division Mgr. ~   Will manage the Fire/Rescue Planning and Compliance Division, reporting directly to the Chief and Deputy Chief. This includes providing analytical consulting in support of fire/rescue services, policy decisions, and initiatives.  Additional responsibilities are to manage a range of processes and issues related to operational analysis, business planning, and policy development.

Starting Annual Salary: $66,310.

Police Officer (Trainee) ~  The Greenville Police Department is currently seeking Police Officers and Police Officer Trainees. Under general supervision, performs law enforcement work as established by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards Council.

Starting annual salary for N.C. Certified Officer (General Certification): $44,366.40.

Starting annual salary for trainee with BLET and probationary certification: $40,019.20.

Those who are currently enrolled in an approved North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program are eligible to apply.
