NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals will be received by the County of Wake in the Wake County Purchasing Department, Room 2900, Wake County Justice Center, 301 S. McDowell Street up to 3:00 p.m., Thursday, February 27, 2020 and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for providing labor, material and equipment entering into the construction of Plaza repairs, located at the Fayetteville Street Plaza of the Wake County Courthouse in Raleigh, NC. Complete contract documents will be open for inspection in the offices of the Landscape Architect; or may be obtained from the Landscape Architect upon deposit of Seventy-Five Dollars ($75.00) in cash or certified check. 24-hours notice is required for taking plans in order to account for printing. All of the drawings and manuals are available in PDF format via secure file transfer.
A project pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site in Raleigh, NC on February 10, 2020 at 10:30 am. The meeting will occur at the Fayetteville Street Plaza with brief access to the underground parking garage below the planter and pavers subject to repair. This meeting is not required, but attendance is strongly encouraged.
The plan deposit will be returned to Contractors submitting bids provided all documents are returned in good condition within five (5) days after the bid date. No bid may be withdrawn for thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for bids. Bid bond and/or surety is required as outlined in the general conditions of this project. Bid Bond form is included with specifications.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
