PUBLIC NOTICE OF 2017 ANNUAL & 5-YEAR PLAN

The HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WILMINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA (WHA) is updating our Agency ANNUAL & 5-YEAR PLAN (The Plan) for FY 2017.  The Plan is a comprehensive guide to public housing agency (PHA) policies, programs, operations, and strategies for meeting local housing needs and goals.

This is a 45-day notice with an opportunity to present public comments regarding 2017 updates to the Annual & 5-YEAR Plan.

The draft of the proposed 2017 Plan is available for review beginning Monday, October 15, 2016, 12:00 p.m. on the WHA website at www.wha.net and at the WHA Central Office, 1524 S. 16^th Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.

Comments must be made in writing and presented to the main office located at 1524 S. 16^th Street, Wilmington, NC 28401, Attn. Matt Scaparro or via email to [email protected] no later than 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016.

A public hearing will be conducted on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in the Executive Conference Room of the Wilmington Housing Authority Central Office, 1524 S. 16^th Street, Wilmington, NC.  Anyone interested in commenting on the proposed revisions is invited to attend.
