Pursuant to NCGS 143-131, sealed proposals will be received by the Public Works Commission of the City of Fayetteville, North Carolina in the Purchasing Office, 1st floor, PWC Administration Building, 955 Old Wilmington Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina, until 5:00 p.m., Thursday, November 5, 2015 for the project entitled “Public Works Commission Glenville Operations Plant Third Floor Upfit”. Any Proposal received subsequent to that time will be promptly returned to the Bidder unopened.
A mandatory pre-bid conference, for general contractors submitting bids, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2015, in the Employee Lounge, 1st floor, PWC Glenville Operations Plant, 628 Filter Plant Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28301.
Plans and specifications, including Contract Documents, are open to public inspection in the PWC Purchasing Department, 1st floor, Administration Building, 955 Old Wilmington Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina and on-line at www.gordonjohnsonarchitecture.com and will be available upon request from the Public Works Commission’s Purchasing Department, 1st Floor, PWC Administration Building, 955 Old Wilmington Road, Fayetteville, NC, by calling (910) 223-4337, or by e-mail request to [email protected].
Public Works Commission has an established goal of 10% for Small Disadvantaged Business participation in construction and repair projects. Bidders are hereby notified that the requirements of the City of Fayetteville and Public Works Commission of the City of Fayetteville’s Small Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program for Construction, Procurement and Professional Services shall be adhered to in the submission of all bids and shall be made a part of the contract.
Public Works Commission of the City of Fayetteville reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals.
