ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Union County Board of Education, Monroe, NC will receive bids for Renovations to Piedmont High School. The work includes renovation work to existing science labs, auditorium and retrofit of existing light fixtures on campus to LED.
A Mandatory Prebid meeting will be held on May 7, 2018 at 2:30 pm at Piedmont High School, located at 3006 Sikes Mill Road, Monroe NC 28110. Prospective prime bidders are required to attend. This meeting is open to the public and is intended to serve as a public hearing to announce the intentions of Union County Public Schools to include certain proprietary brands as bid alternates. Bids will be received at the UCPS Facilities Dept., 201 Venus St, Monroe, NC 28110 no later than 2:00 pm on May 17, 2018. Bid instructions are included within the bid documents. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.
Bids may not be withdrawn for (60) days after bid due date.
Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate. Bidders shall note compliance with the Owner’s Minority Participation requirements included within the bid documents.
