Sealed proposals will be received until 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, in the Sycamore Conference Room (Room 101) in the Giles F. Horney Building, 103 Airport Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27599, for the construction of

at which time and place bids will be opened and read. Bids will be received for single prime bid contracts. All proposals will be lump sum.

Complete plans and specifications for this project can be obtained from SharpeCo., 5605 Chapel Hill Road, Raleigh, NC 27607 (Contact: Chris Franchi – cfranchi@sharpeco.net) beginning Monday, March 25, 2019. Each hard copy will require a plan deposit of $150.00 made payable to Clark Nexsen, Inc. by check.

An open pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders at 10:00 am on April 2, 2019 in the Persimmon Conference Room (Room 129) of the Giles F. Horney Building, 103 Airport Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27599. The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms.

Bid documents will also be available for examinations in the plan rooms of McGraw-Hill, Dodge Data and Analytics, and the Eastern Regional Office of Reed Construction Data; the NC Institute of Minority Economic Development, Inc. at MCTAP/NCIMED, Inc., 114 West Parrish Street, 4th Floor, Durham, NC, 27701; Carolinas Association of General Contractors, GOLER Community Development Corporation; Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas; Metrolina Minority Contractors Association; National Association of Minority Contractors; National Association of Women in Construction – Chapters in NC; National Organization of Minority Architects; North Carolina MWBE Coordinators Network; and the United Minority Contractors of North Carolina.

The state reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
