REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR
BUILDING ROOF EVALUATION/
The City of Rocky Mount is requesting statements of qualifications for RFQ #3043 – Professional Engineering/Architectural Services, from professional engineering/architect firms licensed in the State of North Carolina to provide engineering/architectural services related to building envelope/roof evaluation. Specifically, Fire Stations #2 and #3 sustained roof damage during Hurricane Matthew. These stations sustained water damage during the initial storm and leak periodically. Fire Station #2 is located at 824 South Grace Street and Fire Station #3 is located at 900 South Winstead Avenue in Rocky Mount. The City is seeking to have both roofs inspected, tested and to have repair specifications developed.
The purpose of this RFQ is to select the firm determined to be best able to provide the required Professional Engineering/Architectural services based on the criteria specified herein and to generally set forth the terms and conditions whereby the City of Rocky Mount will contract with the selected firm.
The contracted services may include, but are not limited to roof inspection/ evaluation, leak testing, development of specifications for remediation repairs and construction administration services.

Request for Qualification responses are to be received by the Purchasing Division by 4:00 p. m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. Late proposals will not be accepted. It is the responsibility of the Proposer to view, obtain or download all Addenda issued for this RFQ.
