NCDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING ON
OCTOBER 23 REGARDING THE PROPOSAL
TO WIDEN FAYETTEVILLE ROAD (S.R. 1997)
FROM FARRINGDOM STREET TO 22ND STREET
IN ROBESON COUNTY
STIP PROJECT NO. U-5797
The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to widen Fayetteville Road (S.R. 1997) from Farringdom Street to 22nd Street in Robeson County. The purpose of this project is to relieve congestion along Fayetteville Road.
A public meeting will be held at the Bill Sapp Recreation Center located at 1100 North Cedar Street on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the project and gather input on the proposed design. As information becomes available, it may be viewed online at the NCDOT Public Meeting Webpage: http://www.ncdot.gov/news/public-meetings.
The public may attend at any time during the public meeting hours, as no formal presentation will be made. NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.
The opportunity to submit written comments will be provided at the meeting or can be done via phone, email, or mail by November 6, 2018.
