NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals will be received by the County of Wake in the Purchasing Department, Suite 2900, Wake County Justice Center, 301 McDowell Street, Raleigh, NC 27601, up to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 24, 2019, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for providing labor, material and equipment entering into the construction of The Wake County Olivia Raney Local History Library Renovation, located in Raleigh, NC.
Complete contract documents will be open for inspection in the offices of the Architect; AGC, Raleigh Branch; F.W. Dodge, Raleigh Branch; North Carolina Institute of Minority Economic Development (NCIMED), Durham; Carolina AGC; McGraw Hill Dodge, Raleigh Branch; Hispanic Contractors Association of The Carolinas, Raleigh office, North Carolina. Printed copies of the contract documents may be purchased from Accent Imaging at (919)782-3332 or an electronic copy requested free of charge. Contractors are responsible for distributing documents to all subcontractors.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Library Administration Building located at 4020 Carya Drive in Raleigh, NC 27610.
Wake County provides minorities and women equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of its construction program consistent with NCGS §143-8. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of the Wake County Minority Business Enterprise Program, as outlined in the Project Manual of the bidding documents.
No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for bids.
