Virtual Event: Be a Poll Worker in 2020 – The Facts about Absentee Voting in NC

We were thrilled to get all of the feedback from the surveys, and we are ready to give you more. The committee is in the process of planning follow-up sessions according to the needs gathered from the survey results.
Our first virtual session will be this Thursday, July 9, 2020, at 7:00 p.m., covering the need for and role of poll workers as well as House Bill 1169 (SL 2020-17), which includes changes to the absentee ballot process. We will inform you of changes to the election process for November and the process for signing up to work the polls. We hope you can make it. This event is for residents in communities across North Carolina, so please share the attached flyer with your networks and on social media.
