Triangle Business Journal will recognize the accomplishments of Triangle companies as they strive to reflect the rich tapestry of our community. NOMINATION DEADLINE: JULY 9, 2018


This nomination site is for companies only.  There is a separate nomination site for individuals. 

Triangle Business Journal is accepting nominations for our annual Leaders in Diversity Awards.  We will honor companies and individuals who have shown an exceptional commitment to promoting practices that advance diversity in the workplace and in business leadership.

Judges will be looking for companies who have concrete programs that have delivered measurable results and individuals who, through their leadership, have made the Triangle a better place for minorities in business.

Company categories:

Small (10 to 50 employees)

Medium (51 to 150 employees)

Large (151 to 999 employees)

Giant (1,000 employees and up)

Eligibility Requirement:

Companies must be located in one of the 16 counties that comprise the Triangle region:  Chatham, Durham, Edgecombe, Franklin, Granville, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Nash, Orange, Person, Vance, Wake, Warren and Wilson.

After you submit your nomination consisting of contact information, Triangle Business Journal will send your nominee a questionnaire to complete.  This will be used in the judging process.  If your nominee does not fill out this questionnaire by the listed deadline, they will be disqualified from the nomination process.
Selection Process:
Once the questionnaire answers are collected, an independent panel of judges will select the winners  All winners will be recognized at an awards lunch in September, 2018, and will be featured in the print edition of TBJ after the event.

TBJ reserves the right to determine the eventual winners to be recognized at the awards event.  If additional information is received on a company or an individual following the judging period, and if it’s deemed that the information could have affected the judging of such individual or company, TBJ reserves the right to take appropriate action, when necessary.
