2018 Leaders in Diversity (Individuals)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
This nomination site is for individuals only. There is a separate nomination site for companies.
Triangle Business Journal is accepting nominations for our annual Leaders in Diversity Awards. We will honor companies and individuals who have shown an exceptional commitment to promoting practices that advance diversity in the workplace and in business leadership.
Individual categories:
Corporate Leadership – Individual responsible for diversity initiatives in their organization
Role Model – Individual demonstrating a high degree of success in his or her career and motivating others to do the same
Non-Profit Leader – Individual who advocates for diversity and multi-culturalism in their organization and the community
Lifetime Achievement – Individual diversity and inclusion efforts throughout his or her career
Please note: All Lifetime Achievement awards are selected by Triangle Business Journal’s Editor and Publisher, including but not limited to nominations received.
Eligibility Requirement:
Individuals must reside in one of the 16 counties that comprise the Triangle region: Chatham, Durham, Edgecombe, Franklin, Granville, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Nash, Orange, Person, Vance, Wake, Warren and Wilson.
After you submit your nomination consisting of contact information, Triangle Business Journal will send your nominee a questionnaire to complete. This will be used in the judging process. If your nominee does not fill out this questionnaire by the listed deadline, they will be disqualified from the nomination process.
Selection Process:
Once the questionnaire answers are collected, an independent panel of judges will select the winners All winners will be recognized at an awards lunch in September, 2018, and will be featured in the print edition of TBJ after the event.
TBJ reserves the right to determine the eventual winners to be recognized at the awards event. If additional information is received on a company or an individual following the judging period, and if it’s deemed that the information could have affected the judging of such individual or company, TBJ reserves the right to take appropriate action, when necessary.
