As the year 2015 draws to a close we take time to reflect on the victories that have been won and the battles that are still to be fought. Earlier this month the NC NAACP launched a massive voter empowerment campaign to engage North Carolinians in a long-term, issue-based, non-partisan effort to protect and exercise the right to vote that is so central to our identity as participants in a democratic society. The It’s Our Time | It’s Our Vote voter engagement campaign is picking up speed as we enter into the 2016 election cycle. We are asking you, the supporters of the Forward Together Moral Movement who have kept this freedom train pressing forward through countless obstacles, to continue your support today.
