Cycle Painting & Patching – 20211401

Sealed Bids will be received by the Housing Authority of the City of High Point (HPHA), 500 E. Russell Ave., High Point, NC for Cycle Painting & Patching until 2:00 p.m. local time, June 24, 2021.  Immediately following the deadline, bids will be publicly opened at HPHA.  Any bid received later than the specified time, whether delivered in person or mailed, will be disqualified.  Faxed or electronically submitted bids will not be accepted.

The contractor will paint all interior walls and ceilings, patch interior drywall for up to 316 occupied units throughout all of HPHA’s Asset Management Projects (AMPs). The communities include a mixture of single-family, duplexes, and multi-family unit types. The cost for interior painting is to include repairing and patching of drywall/gypsum and/or similar material up to thirty-two (32) square feet per unit. The contractor will sand, prime, prepare, repair and/or patch and paint all work items listed in the Scope of Work. The contractor will be issued a work order when work is needed. The contractor will provide all labor, materials and supplies needed to complete the job as defined in the scope of work. All work will be inspected and verified for acceptance by HPHA representative(s). 

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on June 14, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at 500 E. Russell Ave., High Point, North Carolina. All interested Contractors may obtain IFB documents through HPHA’s website at or by sending an email request to .  All questions must be sent to HPHA by 5:00 p.m. June 16, 2021.  Any addenda will be issued by 5:00 p.m. on June 17, 2021.  It is important that the bids be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked in the lower left–hand corner with the name of the project: “Cycle Painting & Patching – 20211401”.
