Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) is soliciting Applications for Bidder Prequalification for the purpose of obtaining a qualified contractor for the Electrical and Mechanical Rehabilitation of Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment and Water Pumping Facilities.
Only applicants that have been prequalified in accordance with this RFQ (Request for Qualifications) will be allowed to submit bids for this contract.
The completed application must be delivered to Simon Lobdell, Utilities Engineer, at OWASA, 400 Jones Ferry Road, Carrboro, NC 27510, or emailed to [email protected] no later than 3:00 P.M. on July 18, 2018. No applications will be accepted after the deadline.
The Projects are located at multiple sites in Carrboro and Chapel Hill including University Lake, the Jones Ferry Water Treatment Plant and the Mason Farm Wastewater Treatment Plant. Each of the Projects will be bid as separate Single Prime contracts with one General Contractor responsible for each contract. The projects are
University Lake Liquid Sodium Permanganate Building and Feed System ($1- $1.5M)
University Lake Raw Water Pump Station Capacity Improvements ($1.4K – $1.8M)
Mason Farm WWTP Solids Handling Facility Improvements ($4 – $4.5 M)
WWTP Headworks Outlet Structure Rehabilitation ($1.3M – $1.5M)
