Fire Station No. 1

Sealed Proposals will be received by the Town of Mount Pleasant from Single-prime General Contractors for the renovation & additions of existing Fire Station No. 1 located at 1451 North Main Street, Cabarrus County, Mount Pleasant, NC. These Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 30, 2022, in the Board Room of the Mount Pleasant Town Hall, 8590 Park Drive, Mount Pleasant, NC at which time the proposals will be publicly opened.

A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held in the Board Room of the Mount Pleasant Town Hall at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 15, 2022. All persons interested in submitting a bid are urged to attend.

Prime Contractors may obtain an electronic PDF format set of bidding documents,  building plans, and specifications beginning Monday, June 6, 2022 during regular business hours from the office of Architect, Milligan Architecture, Inc., 6451 Morehead Road, Harrisburg, NC 28075 (Ph: 704-455-5581) (eMail: [email protected]) .  Plans also available on-line thru Duncan Parnell, Concord, NC.

A 5% Bid Bond and 100% Performance & Payment Bond will be required.

No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of forty-five (45) days.  The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
