Sealed proposals for Single Prime Bids will be received until 3:00 pm on September 30, 2021, at Administration Building Conference Room, Lenoir Community College, 231 Hwy 58 South, Kinston, NC 28504, Attn: Deborah Sutton, for the construction of the Floyd Health Science Building Renovation and Addition, Kinston, NC (SCO # 18-18894-02A), at which time and place bids will be opened and read.
Project is funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration and must comply with EDA requirements (EDA Investment # 04-79-07423).
An open pre-bid meeting will be held for bidders, subcontractors, and vendors on September 8, 2021, at 11:00 am at Business Technologies Building, Lenoir Community College, 231 Hwy 58 South, Kinston, NC 28504. The meeting will address project scope, description, issues, bidding procedures and forms, including MBE forms; and answer specific questions. Prime bidders are requested to attend.
In accordance with GS133-3 and SCO procedures the following preferred brand items are being considered as Alternates by the owner for this project:

Exterior Locks by Best Access Systems/Stanley
- Direct Digital Controls by Brady Trane
Complete plans, specifications and contract documents will be open for inspection in the offices of LS3P. Documents are also available for review in the Hispanic Contractors Association of Carolinas in Raleigh, North Carolina and East Coast Digital, 703 SE Greenville Blvd., Greenville, NC 27858 or can be obtained electronically on August 30, 2021.
