ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 

Sealed proposals will be received by Ken Pearce, PE of the North Carolina State Ports Authority in Room 100A of the North Carolina Maritime Building, 2202 Burnett Blvd., Wilmington, NC, 28401, Phone No. (910) 746-6470, up to 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 6, 2024, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment entering into the construction of the INTERMODAL YARD IMPROVEMENTS, Port of Wilmington, North Carolina State Ports Authority, Port of Wilmington, NCSPA Contract No. C-1735, SCO ID # 23-26203-01A.

Bids will be received for Single prime construction contract.  All proposals shall be lump sum. Bidders should clearly indicate on the outside of the bid envelope “Bid Proposal for:  INTERMODAL YARD IMPROVEMENTS, Port of Wilmington“, their NC General Contractor’s License Number, and that the bid is for “Single Prime Bid”.

The project includes furnishing materials identified in the contract documents, and all labor and equipment to perform all the work associated with the Intermodal Yard Improvements, located on the North Carolina State Ports Authority property at the Port of Wilmington.

An open pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders and vendors on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the Conference Room, North Carolina State Ports Authority, Maritime Building, 2202 Burnett Boulevard, Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401.  Attendance at the Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory, but all Bidders should attend this conference and/or visit the site in order to acquaint themselves with site conditions and job requirements.
