Main Campus Steam Plant FO Tank Replacement project

Sealed proposals will be received until 3:00 PM on 06/25/2019, at 1001 East 4th Street, Campus Operations Conference Room, Greenville NC 27858, for the construction of the Main Campus Steam Plant FO Tank Replacement project at which time all placed bids will be opened and read. Bids should be addressed to Robert Still.

The scope of work includes the demolition of three above ground fuel oil tanks and installation of a new containment area and two new 125kGal FO tanks.  Bids will be received for Single Prime only.  All proposals shall be lump sum. Prequalification is not required.  The anticipated construction period is between October 2019 to April 2020.

An open pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders on 05/14/2019 at 9:30 AM at 700 East 14th Street, Greenville NC 27858 in the Main Campus Steam Plant Conference Room. The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms.

Contract documents are available for review through the online plan rooms of: Associated General Contractors, Carolinas Branch, in the online plan room of McGraw-Hill Dodge Corporation, and Reed Construction Data and in Minority Plan Rooms East Cost Digital (ECD) Plan Room, Minority Plan Room Provider, 210 E 14th St, STE D, Greenville NC 27858, 252-758-1616.

Contract documents hardcopies may be obtained upon deposit of Two hundred dollars ($200.00) per bid phase in cash or certified check written to RMF Engineering and mailed to Arc Document Solutions, 951 Aviation Parkway, Suite 700, Morrisville, NC 27560, 919-388-9900.  The full plan deposit will be returned to those bidders provided all documents are returned in good, usable condition to the Designer within ten (10) days after the bid date.
