NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS 

NOTICE OF SUBCONTRACTOR QUALIFICATION REQUEST 

Barnhill Contracting Company and T A Loving Company, have been selected as the Construction Manager by the North Carolina Global TransPark in Kinston, North Carolina, and is seeking to pre-qualify subcontractors to submit bids for the Phase 2 Early Electrical and Paint Booths of the Fleet Readiness Center East, Maintenance Repair and Overhaul project located in Kinston, NC.  PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The project includes but is not limited to a taxiway from the runway to the C-130 complex, aircraft parking spaces with drive-thru capability, a defuel area, a hangar with maintenance bays for C-130s and HH-60s, back shops/supporting shops and a Flight Test hangar.  The following bid package Prequalification’s are being accepted:  BP 2610 Site Electrical Ductbanks and Gear, and BP1310 Paint Booths.  Historically underutilized and minority business participation is strongly encouraged.  Interested contractors should submit their completed Prequalification Package by June 11, 2024, to Meredith Terrell at Barnhill Contracting Company ([email protected]).  PREQUALIFICATION FORMS CAN BE OBTAINED from our online plan room, https://app.buildingconnected.com/public/54da832ce3edb5050017438b/projects/663110c7f8cf860059a1e18c, by clicking on the “Global Transpark MRO Facility” project under the Public Jobs tab or by contacting Meredith Terrell by email or phone at 919-781-7210.
