NOTICE TO TRADE SUBCONTRACTORS: 

BIDDER PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUEST 

PROJECT:
UNC 6TH FLOOR NEONATAL CRITICAL CARE CENTER EXPANSION

Monteith Construction is seeking to pre-qualify contractors to submit bids for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment for the UNC 6th Floor Neonatal Critical Care Center Expansion. We will be accepting Prequalifications for formal bid packages and trades as listed on the prequalification form.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Renovation of the 6th Floor Women’s hospital to accommodate the NCCC Expansion. The scope of work consists of converting the 22 Patient Rooms to NCCC rooms as well as Nurse Stations and Waiting Rooms. New Mechanical equipment, plumbing, medical gases, headwalls, and electrical systems will be included as a part of the renovation. The project will be completed in 2 phases with an anticipated total duration of 1 year.

PREQUALIFICATION DUE DATE:
August 25, 2022.

FORMAL BID PACKAGES INCLUDE:
21A – Fire Sprinklers
22A – Plumbing
23A – Electrical
26A – Mechanical

Relevant hospital construction experience will be considered during prequalification.

August 18, 2022, at 4:00 PM.

The Construction Manager and Owner reserve the right to reject any and all Pre-qualifications. Contracting method will be through Competitive Public Bid in accordance with Chapter 143 of the NC General Statues.
