Renovation of the 2nd floor and Mezzanine floor of the Wake County Office Building Project

Sealed proposals will be received by the County of Wake in the Purchasing Department, Room 2900, Wake County Justice Center, 301 S. McDowell Street, Raleigh, NC 27601, up to 3:00 p.m., Thursday, November 8th, 2018, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for providing labor, material and equipment entering into the renovation of the 2nd floor and Mezzanine floor of the Wake County Office Building Project, located in Raleigh, NC.

The Work generally consists of an interior upfit of the 2nd floor and Mezzanine floor of the Wake County Office Building.  Scope of work will include incidental plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, and electrical installation as well as partitions and other interior components. Demolition has generally been completed under a separate contract, however there is select demolition included in this scope of work.

Wake County provides minorities and women equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of its construction program consistent with NCGS §143-8.  Bidders shall comply with the requirements of the Wake County Minority Business Enterprise Program, as outlined in Section 00 30 00 of the documents.

A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018 and located at:

All Contractors are required to be present. The following Contractors attended the original pre-bid conference held on Sept. 18, 2018, and are not required to attend the October 31st pre-bid conference:

  5. Riley Contracting Group, Inc.

No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for bids.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
