Orange Water & Sewer Authority (OWASA) is inviting contractors to submit bids for replacement of Restrained Flange Coupling Adapters (RFCAs) on our Reclaimed Water (RCW) Main servicing the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This is a lump sum bid with qualification requirements.

This project consists of replacement of ten (10) restrained flange coupling adaptors (RFCAs) on the existing 24-inch RCW transmission main. The RFCAs are inside manholes in various locations, including under roads, trails, and in environmentally sensitive areas. The Work includes, but is not limited to pipe excavation and backfilling, pipe fittings, traffic control, paving, and some site restoration work.
A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on June 15, 2022.
Responses to the Request for Bids must be received by 1:00 p.m. on July 6, 2022.
