Wake County Detention Center Medical Holding Renovation Project, located in Raleigh, NC

Sealed proposals will be received by the County of Wake in the Purchasing Department, Room 2900, Wake County Justice Center, 301 S. McDowell Street, Raleigh, NC 27601, up to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday June 25, 2019, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for providing labor, material and equipment entering into the Single Prime Contract for construction of the Wake County Detention Center Medical Holding Renovation Project, located in Raleigh, NC.

A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Wake County Public Safety Center, Conference Room C-170, 330 S. Salisbury Street, Raleigh, North Carolina 27601 at 2:30 p.m. local prevailing time, on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. All Contractors are to be present.

Prime bidders will be responsible for ensuring that all sub bidders have complete sets of documents for a comprehensive review of the project scope. Complete Contract Documents (Electronic copy only) may be obtained, during normal office hours, beginning May 22nd, 2019 from:

The Work of Project is defined by Contract Documents and consists of approximately 3,200 SF of major interior renovation including new CMU walls, new security metal ceilings, new interior finishes, security hollow metal doors, frames, glazing and hardware. Also includes new electrical, telecommunications, fire alarm, plumbing, fire protection and mechanical systems and renovations.

No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for bids.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
