Blum Construction will accept proposals until 2:00 pm on Monday, April 29, 2024, for the UNCG Phillips Hawkins Residence Hall HVAC Renovation in Greensboro, NC.

This project will consist of a full renovation of the mechanical systems in the Phillips Hawkins Residence Hall on the UNC Greensboro campus. This building has 2 partial floors and 3 full floors. Scope will revolve around replacing the systems, while also updating and patching finishes that are affected by the HVAC renovations. Demolition, GWB Assemblies, Ceilings, Painting, Fire Protection, HVAC, and Electrical are all going to be a vital part of this project.

This project has a goal of 10% MWBE participation. Please include the provided MWBE forms with all bids. If MWBE subcontractors require assistance with bonding or payment terms, please let us know. Blum Construction has the ability to create custom solutions to support a successful project outcome. Examples of Trade Partner Support: quick pay arrangements, modified insurance limits, bonding access or alternative bonding solutions, joint check agreements, prequalification assistance, disaggregation of bid packages, alternate options for financial statements prequalification requirements, break out of materials and equipment to support cash flow.
