Sealed Bids for the construction of the Wastewater Asset Inventory Assessment Sanitary Sewer Evaluation – Phase II – CCTV Contract will be received by the Town of Williamston, NC at Williamston Town Hall, 102 E. Main Street, Williamston, NC 27892 until 2:00 PM local time on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of the following work:
Clean & Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) inspection of approximately 40,000 LF of gravity sewer mains ranging in diameter between 8” to 18” and inspection of approximately 214 sewer manholes.
Bids must be submitted on the complete project. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Town of Williamston, 102 E. Main Street, Williamston, NC 27892 and the outside of the envelope must be marked “Bid for Town of Williamston Wastewater Asset Inventory Assessment – SSES – Phase II – CCTV Contract”. All bids must be made on blank forms provided and included in the bound document. The name, address, and license number with limitation and classification of the Bidder must be plainly marked thereon.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM local time on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at the office of Rivers and Associates, Inc. located at 107 E. 2nd Street, Greenville, NC 27858. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. In accordance with the Minority Participation Goals, potential prime Contractor(s), should attend the Pre-Bid Conference.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Rivers & Associates, Inc. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the Town of Williamston, 102 E. Main Street, Williamston, NC 27892.
Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, upon payment of a deposit of $50.00 for each set. Bona fide bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition (suitable for re-use) within 10 days after receipt of Bids will receive a full refund. An additional electronic (.pdf) version of plans and specifications may be purchased for an additional $35.00 non-refundable fee. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to “Rivers & Associates, Inc.”. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
