W. M. Jordan is seeking subcontractor prequalification for the Cape Fear Community College (Science Lab Classroom) Zander Addition.

This project consists of a single story 10,781 SF wood-framed and trussed building with a combination of masonry and fiber cement façade. Sitework will involve removing trees, installation of a retention pond and new parking lot with associated storm water structures. Demolition of exiting sidewalks and re-installation will be required for new utilities. There will be a total of four (4) classrooms including a science lab and prep room with laboratory casework and fume hoods. The electrical service will come from the existing building’s distribution panel and run underground to the new addition. The water service will be tied into the existing building and run underground to the new addition. There will be an exposed covered walkway that connects the north entrance of the existing building to the south entrance of the new building.

This is not a LEED certified project.
