PREQUALIFICATION ADVERTISEMENT

 

Blum Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager @ Risk by the City of High Point and is seeking to pre-qualify construction trade contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment and tools for the High Point Center for Active Adults project in High Point, NC.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Construction of a new Senior Center, called Center for Active Adults, with the aim being to re-house programs currently offered at the Roy B. Culler Jr. Senior Center (currently located at the former Oak Hollow Mall) and allow for new offerings and opportunities for active adults, ages 50 and up. This new center will house various lounge areas serving different purposes, large multipurpose space, storage areas, a catering kitchen, art studio, office & conference space and a fitness area & studio with a walking track. Exterior scope to include relocation of community garden, new pickleball court, paving and all associated sitework.

Examples of Trade Partner Support include quick pay arrangements, modified insurance limits, bonding access or alternative bonding solutions, joint check agreements, prequalification assistance, disaggregation of bid packages, alternate options for financial statements prequalification requirements, break out of materials and equipment to support cash flow.
